Hunts are planned to give the hunter a maximum amount of time in the woods and thereby the most success. There are two hunts per day, averaging four hours each, morning and afternoon. If a hunter requests to stay in the woods all day without a noon break, this can be accommodated. When hunting over green fields, the average shot is 100 yards or less. Rifles in .243 caliber or higher are recommended. You will be guided to and from your deer stand. During spring turkey hunts, one on one guides or callers are available at an additional cost to the hunt.
